Pentart Fineline Crackle Varnish

Available in 50 ml set, 100 ml, and 230 ml set. Two-part formula.

Pentart Fineline Crackle Varnish is a 2-step crackle medium that dries transparent, creating beautifully fine, controlled cracks on furniture, pottery, paper, and a wide variety of surfaces. Works with solvent-based (non water-based) products for highlighting the cracks with wax, gel, or stain.

• Step 1: Apply with a clean, dry brush over a sealed surface (pottery, paint, paper, and more). Allow to dry fully.
• Step 2: Apply over Step 1 with another clean, dry brush. Allow to dry naturally or accelerate with a heat gun — cracks will appear as it dries.
• Once dry, apply a solvent-based wax, gel, or stain over the cracks and wipe back to your desired effect
• Dries transparent — the crack colour comes from the product used to highlight them
• Compatible with Pentart waxes and solvent-based finishes
• Note: Use with solvent-based (non water-based) highlighting products only
